As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing comprehensive strategies that safeguard critical business operations during disruptions, fostering collaboration across departments, and strengthening organizational readiness.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in business continuity planning and program development
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for business continuity
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR) planning
- Certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, PMP, or similar
- Experience in financial services or technology sectors
- Project or program management background
- Ability to facilitate simulations and testing exercises
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- Demonstrated progression in business continuity roles, with a history of building or maturing programs
- Previous exposure to enterprise resilience initiatives
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility for hybrid work arrangements, with potential locations including Fort Mill, San Diego, Austin, or New York City
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
