Bookkeeper – Full Charge

What You Will Do:

  • Handle complete bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Support tax return preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Manage general administrative functions to keep our office streamlined and efficient
  • Collaborate with team members on financial planning, billing, and expense tracking

Top Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 1 year of bookkeeping or public accounting experience

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with multiple clients in a public accounting setting
  • Familiarity with tax preparation procedures
  • Knowledge of additional accounting software tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to thrive in a small office environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; an associate’s degree or higher in accounting or related fields is a plus
  • At least 1 year of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in public accounting or a similar setting

Other Requirements:

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of paid overtime during busy seasons
  • Strong personality and excellent communication skills—outgoing, team-oriented, and personable
  • Ability to start before January is highly preferred to ensure a seamless onboarding process
