Accounting Manager
Our client in the Oil and Gas industry located in Denver, CO is looking to add an Accounting Manager to the team. This is an exciting opportunity that will oversee the day-to-day accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, supervise accounting staff, and partner with operations leaders.
Primary Responsibilities
- In office Monday – Friday
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
- Prepare and review GAAP financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee journal entries.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Oil & gas industry experience strongly preferred
Preferred Experience
- Joint Interest Billing (JIB)
- Revenue accounting
- Production accounting
The targeted salary range for this opportunity is $65,000-$85,000
