Summary:
We’re looking for a Staff AWS Connect Developer with a strong background in AWS Connect services and architecture. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining complex AWS Connect solutions to enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in AWS Connect, Lambda development, AWS API Gateway, and API integrations will be instrumental in creating scalable, customizable, and integrated contact center solutions. You will play a key role in driving the development and optimization of our AWS Connect platform and custom CCP to deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement contact flows in AWS Connect, including IVR menus, call routing logic, and external system integrations

Configure AWS Connect instances, phone numbers, queues, and settings based on business requirements

Develop custom contact attributes, prompts, and flow modules to optimize customer and agent experiences

Write Lambda functions in C# or JavaScript for call routing, backend operations, and third-party API integration

Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda for data processing, database operations, and business logic execution

Integrate AWS Connect with services like DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and Lambda for seamless operations

Leverage AWS SDKs and APIs to enable data exchange between AWS Connect and other resources

Configure and manage AWS API Gateway to create and secure RESTful APIs for external services
-
Implement authentication, authorization, and throttling policies within API Gateway

Monitor AWS Connect metrics using CloudWatch and identify optimization opportunities
-
Document designs, configurations, code, and troubleshooting procedures related to AWS Connect and integrations

Follow AWS best practices, security protocols, and compliance standards in all development work

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide support

Participate in agile development, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

Troubleshoot complex issues within AWS Connect infrastructure and integrations

Stay current with AWS Connect developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

6+ years of experience in AWS Connect development and implementation

Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch

Strong understanding of IVR systems, call routing, and telephony integrations

Experience with React, Python, JavaScript, or Java

Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are a plus

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps is desirable
