Senior AI Software Engineer
Overview
Join an innovative product team building AI-enabled Decision Intelligence solutions that drive meaningful outcomes across patient care, team member and patient experience, clinical and back-office operations, and financial performance. In this senior contract role, you’ll design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI products—working closely with engineers, data scientists, architects, product managers, and designers through continuous Product Discovery and Product Delivery cycles. Required Skills (Top 5)
- AI/ML deployment experience, including agent deployment, LLM integration, and RAG patterns
- Azure AI/ML deployment knowledge and cloud-based production implementation
- Strong cloud architecture fundamentals, including containerization and DevSecOps practices
- API integration, observability, and production readiness for AI applications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java
Nice to Have Skills (Top 5)
- Experience with AI application frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles (fairness, bias mitigation, explainability)
- Healthcare industry experience and/or knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules
- Proficiency with semi-structured file formats and NoSQL databases
- Experience designing and implementing scalable MLOps pipelines for structured/unstructured data
Preferred Education and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience with demonstrated delivery of AI/ML solutions in production environments
- Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
