Web Engineer – API / Microservices

Summary:
We are seeking a Web Engineer with strong experience in API development, microservices architecture, and modern web platform engineering. This role focuses on building robust, efficient, and scalable services that integrate with internal tools and user-facing platforms. Ideal candidates are passionate about clean code, performance, and solving complex integration challenges at scale.
Responsibilities:

Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices to support internal and external-facing applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end experiences with backend logic

Optimize web services for scalability, maintainability, and performance

Maintain clear, well-documented, and testable code using modern development practices

Work closely with security and DevOps teams to ensure compliance, observability, and deployment efficiency

Participate in architectural design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase
Qualifications:

4+ years of experience building web services, APIs, and distributed systems

Strong development experience in Node.js, Go, or Python

Proficient in RESTful architecture; GraphQL knowledge is a plus

Familiarity with modern web frameworks, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD tools

Understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and scalable deployment models

Bonus: Experience integrating services into high-scale gaming, entertainment, or content platforms
