Technical Project Manager – Gaming

Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience managing cross-functional software engineering projects in the gaming industry or real-time engine development environments. This role requires someone who can work closely with engineering, product, and production teams to drive timelines, prioritize features, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with Unreal Engine, developer workflows, and agile methodologies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives across multiple teams

  • Work closely with engineering leads to define requirements, resource needs, and project milestones

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and roadmap alignment

  • Monitor progress, identify blockers, and coordinate resolutions to keep teams on track

  • Communicate status updates and risks to leadership and stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and collaboration tools

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in technical project management or program management in a software engineering environment

  • Proven success leading engineering efforts in gaming, entertainment, or interactive tech organizations

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine or other game engines is highly desirable

  • Technical background (CS degree or hands-on software development experience) is a plus
