Required Skills:
CPA certification is mandatory
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law; Master’s in Tax or LLM preferred
7+ years of recent public accounting experience with construction and closely held businesses
Proven project and team management capabilities
Strong communication, networking, and client relationship skills
Expertise in construction tax accounting methods, lookback calculations, and percentage of completion accounting
Proficiency with tax software and related technology
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and professionalism
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with business development and generating new client opportunities
Additional industry certifications or specialized training in construction taxation
Advanced skills in tax research and advisory on complex issues
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law (Master’s in Tax or LLM strongly preferred)
Extensive public accounting experience focused on construction or closely held businesses
