Qualifications:
Must be able to learn internal accounting processes and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required. Solid written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, effective time management, and strong organizational skills are needed. Must be able to manage a high workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Some roles may require adherence to ethical guidelines regarding personal conduct and, in certain cases, personal financial activities involving you or members of your household.
Responsibilities:
Research and correct large volumes of tax requests. Process and review Excel spreadsheets containing transactions and tax forms requiring correction.
Prepare, analyze, and communicate financial information that supports reporting and control functions. Review and refine accounting procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate safeguards for organizational resources.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a financial services and/or retirement services environment
Experience preparing and working with W2 and 1099-R tax forms
