The Service Desk Technician at this global engineering firm provides first-line technical support for all teammates while serving as a lead role that includes mentoring less experienced team members and participating in leadership development. The position requires strong customer service skills, technical proficiency with various hardware and software systems, and the ability to prioritize and resolve a high volume of IT support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
1) 4+ years as a service desk technician
2) Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, conf room equip, printers, phones etc.)
3) Systems experience (windows 11, Microsoft office suite, onboarding/offboarding)
