Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst to join a dynamic financial reporting team based in Denver, Colorado (hybrid work environment). In this role, you will prepare and manage key components of SEC and regulatory filings, including the Form 10-K and 10-Q. You will also take the lead on technical accounting research, complex balance sheet analysis, and key process improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact position well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You Will Be Doing

Manage sections of SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q

Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting schedules

Evaluate and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts in line with GAAP

Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve financial reporting issues

Research technical accounting matters and document conclusions in written memos

Design and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis

Participate in large-scale accounting projects such as system implementations or purchase accounting

Drive process improvements across the reporting function

Mentor and support the development of junior accounting team members
Preferred Qualifications
-
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
-
Experience with Oracle Financials or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)

3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on SEC clients

Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate across functions and geographies
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in SEC reporting or public accounting for publicly traded companies

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
