The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile practices, portfolio tracking, and tool governance, and will play a critical role in supporting enterprise-level project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Jira configuration, workflow management, user access, and governance.

  • Support enterprise portfolio management by developing custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making and KPI tracking.

  • Collaborate with PMO leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to align Jira structure and usage with quarterly planning and portfolio prioritization.

  • Standardize and document Jira usage across the organization, including best practices, process templates, and naming conventions.

  • Facilitate the intake and prioritization of initiatives, ensuring traceability from idea through delivery.

  • Support and manage integrations between Jira and other enterprise systems and PPM tools as needed.

  • Lead or support tool migration efforts, including planning, change management, data migration, testing, and user training.

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for tool improvements that increase transparency and project delivery efficiency.

  • Deliver training, onboarding, and ongoing support to users across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage vendor support interactions.

  • Provide regular portfolio and project health updates to senior leadership through clear, concise executive reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator in a fast-paced, Agile enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Jira software administration, including custom workflows, fields, issue types, permissions, schemes, and automation.

  • Experience with Jira Align, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and hybrid methodologies across technical and business teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to support PMO functions such as portfolio intake, prioritization, and roadmap tracking through tool configuration.

  • Experience with executive-level reporting and dashboard development.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record in supporting enterprise tool implementations, migrations, or major process transformations.

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and scripting (e.g., JQL, Python, or REST API integration) is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, PMP, SAFe Agilist, Agile Certified Practitioner) are a plus.
