Overview:

Our client, a leading provider of data center, cloud, and managed services, is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Supervisor to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding and managing a team of Security Operations Analysts, ensuring the safety and security of critical IT infrastructure. If you thrive in a high-stakes environment and possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
Required Skills:
- Solid technical proficiency, particularly in SIM configuration.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for reporting and analytics.
- Strong soft skills with a focus on leadership abilities.
- Experience in incident response, threat hunting, security monitoring, and vulnerability management.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, or GCIA.
- Experience with cloud security and cloud-based security operations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in security operations.
- Previous experience managing and leading a team of security analysts.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hybrid role with availability in either Charlotte or Denver.
- Flexibility for occasional on-site work with on-call requirements.
