Process Assistant I

Location: Multiple Locations Across the US 
Onsite Requirement: Hybrid 

Top 3 Must Haves

  1. Introductory knowledge of GIS tools and mapping procedures – Candidate must be able to navigate GIS systems and apply basic functionalities.

  2. Experience using FileShare – Proven ability to manage and link documentation effectively.

  3. Basic understanding of electric utility operations – Especially related to easements and property ownership.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Process Assistant I to support the Distribution Right of Way team on a new data management initiative. This individual will work onsite at our clients main building, managing easement data within a GIS portal and ensuring proper linkage to documentation stored in FileShare.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Input and manage easement data within the GIS Portal.

  • Link GIS entries to corresponding documentation in FileShare.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data in collaboration with team members.

  • Perform general administrative support duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Basic proficiency with GIS and mapping tools.

  • Prior experience with FileShare.

  • Understanding of electric utility terms and operations including easements and property research.

  • Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.

  • Comfortable working independently and in team settings.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and professional communication (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Background in the utility or energy sector is a plus.

Interview Process

One round via Microsoft Teams (camera on).
