About the Opportunity:
Associate Staffing is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client, a high-growth, PE-backed enterprise technology company undergoing major transformation. We are seeking a Principal Analyst / Senior Manager of Corporate Finance to join their lean and highly visible FP&A team at a pivotal time for the organization.
This is one of the first two hires in a new finance structure and will serve as a key partner to the VP of FP&A and CFO. The role is ideal for a finance athlete, someone with a strong pedigree in investment banking, corporate finance, or enterprise SaaS, who thrives in complexity, operates independently, and brings strong storytelling and modeling capabilities to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage complex, driver-based financial models rooted in operational and sales data
  • Own and drive budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly reporting packages
  • Act as a right hand to the VP of FP&A, supporting key strategic decisions and presenting insights to executive stakeholders
  • Pull together the close package, restatements, and consolidate reporting across multiple business units
  • Serve as liaison to the private equity ownership group, supporting detailed and responsive board-level reporting
  • Partner with the corporate controller and consolidation teams to align on capital planning, restatements, and reporting integrity
  • Create and deliver executive-facing PowerPoint decks and data visualizations that translate complex financial scenarios into clear, actionable insights
  • Leverage systems like Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to automate and scale reporting
  • Operate as a true individual contributor with high output, while collaborating across a matrixed environment
  • Navigate ambiguity and organizational change with agility, confidence, and a proactive mindset

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 6–10 years in investment banking, corporate development, FP&A, or enterprise SaaS finance
  • Deep understanding of recurring revenue models and key SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV)
  • Hands-on experience with financial consolidations, close packages, and long-range planning
  • Strong modeling chops with attention to detail and an ability to zoom out to see the bigger picture
  • Executive presence, comfortable translating complex data into clear stories for C-suite and board audiences
  • Technically fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems like Adaptive, Tableau, Power BI, SQL
  • Able to work autonomously but seamlessly integrate with cross-functional teams
  • High emotional intelligence, curiosity-driven, and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
