What You Will Be Doing

Sell commercial HVAC equipment repairs, upgrades, and large-scale solutions

Focus primarily on existing customer base for prospecting (roughly 90 percent)

Survey mechanical systems, identify problems, and recommend tailored solutions

Present ROI-focused proposals and influence client decision timelines

Create asset replacement schedules considering efficiency, age, service history, and regulations

Partner with operations teams to communicate customer expectations and project needs

Leverage market knowledge and account management to drive growth

Coordinate with suppliers and project managers to ensure smooth execution
Required Qualifications

5 to 7 years of experience in sales and commercial HVAC systems

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC equipment and systems

Experience presenting to clients and closing complex sales

Ability to interpret job conditions and recommend appropriate maintenance and upgrades

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of ASHRAE guidelines, building codes, and local mandates

Experience using vertical market strategies to uncover opportunities

Skilled in handling objections and communicating long-term value to clients

Familiarity with coordinating subcontractors and understanding equipment lead times
