Financial Operations Specialist – Join a Dynamic Team Supporting Strategic Conversion Projects

We’re seeking a dedicated Financial Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in our Equitable / EQH Conversion Project — a crucial initiative supporting the seamless transition of client accounts amidst a major acquisition. 
In this role, you will be integral to processing account repapering and transition data, ensuring data integrity, and meeting tight deadlines. Your meticulous approach will support the successful conversion of client accounts, directly impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Required Skills:

  • Strong client focus and exceptional soft skills
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume data processing with precision
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience navigating multiple data systems
  • Experience with data validation, quality control, and reconciliation
  • Financial services background with understanding of relationship-based business
  • Growth-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring data accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Client Works, Direct Business Data Update Tool, or similar systems
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet, BOX, and internal data management tools
  • Experience in back-end data work related to client transitions
  • Knowledge of repapering processes or transition support roles in financial services

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting advisors or in operations within financial services
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Must be fully comfortable working onsite 3 days for training and 1 day/week afterward
  • No issues with being fully onsite; reliability is key as leadership expects consistent presence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player with the ability to work independently
