Scope of Work
The Enterprise Technology Analyst will provide operational and project support for the Customer and AMI Technologies team on a time and materials basis. The primary objective is to handle enhancement, project, and incident response tasks, allowing the team to focus on the S/4HANA implementation without disruption.

Purpose
To support the Customer and AMI Technologies team by managing day-to-day operational requests, project enhancements, and incident resolutions throughout 2026. This role ensures consistent progress on strategic initiatives while maintaining system stability and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for ServiceNow incidents related to Customer and AMI Technologies.
  • Work on enhancement requests and project tasks aligned with expertise in Customer and AMI systems.
  • Respond promptly to incidents to prevent delays in the S/4HANA project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain operational efficiency and team availability during the S/4HANA implementation period.

Expected Outcomes

  • Timely resolution of incidents and enhancement requests.
  • Continued progress on ongoing Customer and AMI Technologies projects.
  • Reduced workload pressure on the core Customer and AMI Technologies team during the S/4HANA project timeline.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience designing and configuring complex SAP solutions within the last ten years.
  • Minimum three (3) years of SAP ECC 6.0 experience with EHP7 or higher.
  • Minimum one (1) year of SAP CRM 7.0 experience with EHP3 or higher.
  • IS-U CR&B expertise, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Customer service
  • Device management, including smart meters and/or the Itron Networks UIQ stack
  • Rates and pricing
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Bill print
  • Workflows
  • FI-CA
  • Experience working with master data components and managing the business partner lifecycle.
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience performing end-to-end functional, technical, and regression testing of complex solutions, including integrations with external systems.
  • Experience using defect tracking tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
  • Experience participating in business requirement reviews and blueprint sessions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams (ABAP developers) to define and refine functional specifications for custom developments.
  • Ability to create process flow diagrams based on business requirements.
  • Experience debugging custom code and working independently within a project team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to project stakeholders.

    Desirable Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience leading business requirement reviews and blueprint sessions.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Experience designing and configuring complex IS-U rates, rate categories, and billing schemas.
    • Electric utility industry experience supporting any of the following systems:
    • SAP S/4HANA
    • SAP CX (Customer Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
    • OpenText Document Presentment
    • Itron Meter Data Management System (MDMS) IEE 10.3 or higher
    • MDUS/ISAIM EhP7 or higher
