Overview:
Are you ready to lead a critical project in the world of enterprise architecture? Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect with a specialization in Data Center Migration to play a pivotal role in transitioning a major acquisition into their infrastructure. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shutting down data centers and overseeing the smooth migration of applications to align with our financial model.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in data center migration
- Expertise in identifying applications within data centers and establishing efficient migration pathways
- Strong understanding of latency and network performance optimization
- Ability to manage application dependencies, clarify functions, and navigate ambiguity effectively
- Hands-on experience with network tracing, application analysis, and diagram/documentation creation
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with .NET, Java, and Python programming languages
- Experience with Azure and AWS platforms
- Knowledge of Storage replication, API gateways, firewalls, and other data center technologies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Industry certifications such as AWS or Azure credentials are advantageous but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong relationship management skills, particularly with partner teams during migration processes
- Flexibility to adapt to changing travel and work location requirements
