Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Documentum Developer to support configuration, customization, and integration efforts for the OpenText Documentum Product Suite (version 24.4). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Documentum D2 Classic and SmartView user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain custom jobs, workflows, and content server methods to meet business requirements.
- Configure and support Archive and Content Services for SAP, including replication and link jobs.
- Integrate Documentum with third-party applications using REST APIs, DFC, and connectors (Office 365, SharePoint Online, DocuSign).
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer upon completion of work.
Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Documentum Developer with expertise in OpenText tools including D2 Classic, SmartView, OTDS, Content Server, JMS, Java, JSP, JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, DFC, Composer, REST API, SQL, and DQL.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with both D2 Classic and SmartView (recent versions).
- Proven experience creating custom jobs, workflows, and email templates within the past 2 years.
- Experience upgrading Content Server (21.x or higher) within the past 2 years.
- 2+ years of installation, upgrade, and configuration experience with Content and Archive Services for SAP (16.x or higher).
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SAP ECC 6 or S/4 HANA integrations, ESB WebMethods, and Content Rendition Server.
- Experience with DQMan, PowerShell, RHEL scripting, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Oracle Database, and performance tuning for Content Server and SmartView.
- Experience with Documentum Mobile or Smart Device Support.
- OpenText Documentum Developer Certification.
- Experience with Captiva/Core Capture Scanning Software.
Additional Details:
- Location: 100% Remote (U.S. only)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (PST)
- Reliable internet connection required.
- All deliverables must be fully documented and transitioned to the internal team at project completion.
