Position Overview
The Depot Support Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the IT and logistics operations at our Memphis HQ. This position ensures that all shipping, inventory, and equipment preparation processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will take ownership of daily tasks, ensuring that shipments are accurately packed and labeled, equipment is ready for deployment, and new-hire kits are consistently prepared to meet the high standards of our company. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. As a Depot Support Technician, you’ll be a vital part of providing exceptional service to internal teams and new hires, directly contributing to the success and efficiency of our operations.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Depot Support Technician, you will support daily activities at our Memphis HQ, reporting directly to the IT Manager of Support Services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing inventory, preparing and packing boxes for shipment, labeling and transporting packages, and shipping equipment to new employees. You will also be involved in imaging computers, testing monitors, and familiarizing yourself with the New-Hire Kit process and preparation. Additionally, you will provide friendly and effective support by following Depot operating procedures and escalating issues as needed to the appropriate support teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse or equivalent environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a supervised environment
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with standard packing and shipping tools and materials (e.g., tape guns, packing materials)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic technical knowledge of computer systems, monitors, and peripherals
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with ownership of tasks from start to completion
