Position Overview
The Depot Support Technician is a 1-year contract role responsible for supporting daily depot operations, including shipping, packing, labeling, and imaging computers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain and organize shipping supplies.
- Assemble, pack, and label boxes for safe transport.
- Ship IT equipment to new employees.
- Assist with imaging and testing computers as needed.
- Follow standard depot operating procedures.
- Support the New-Hire Kit process and preparation.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipping processes.
Basic Qualifications
- 1-2 years of warehouse or shipping experience (or equivalent).
- Ability to prioritize work based on department needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a structured and supervised environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT logistics or shipping operations.
- Familiarity with packing tools, tape guns, and shipping materials.
- Basic technical knowledge of computer imaging and peripheral devices.
- Customer service or IT support experience.
