The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen in DataPower development, design, and troubleshooting, with a focus on secure APIs and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily production support, engineering, and infrastructure maintenance.

  • Coordinate closely with application and infrastructure teams to manage migrations, including Web DNS updates, firewall requests, and connectivity testing.

  • Assist with technical documentation, planning, and strategy using tools such as Confluence.

  • Support administrative setup during new environment builds.

  • Participate in on-call rotations for monthly major releases and weekly off-cycle deployments, including weekends as needed.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  1. 8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataPower (IDG/X2 appliances).

  2. Strong experience designing and implementing DataPower proxy solutions.

  3. Expertise in secure integration standards such as OAuth 2.0, WS-Security, JWTs, authentication and authorization.

  4. Proficient with DataPower Gateway Scripts and XSLT for transformation logic.

  5. Strong understanding of protocols, orchestration, mediation, encryption, and decryption.

  6. Experience managing TLS certificate lifecycles and coordinating seamless upgrades across environments.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills for strategies, designs, and migration plans.

  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and quick learning ability.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
