Business Performance Analyst – Contract
The Company:
Associate Staffing is supporting a leading energy company in their search for a Business Performance Analyst to join their Development Training team. This is a hybrid position based in Chester, VA
Length of Assignment: 1 year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | Hybrid schedule as required
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Business Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s operational efficiency and effectiveness through analysis, project support, and process improvement initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple teams while balancing a variety of responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting business performance through data analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
- Managing and participating in multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Developing and maintaining process documentation, dashboards, and performance reports to support decision-making.
- Applying analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within business processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts and optimize workflows.
- Providing ad-hoc support and reporting to leadership as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple project teams simultaneously.
- Solid analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a corporate training, operational efficiency, or business performance environment.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Strong critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
