What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive sales and sustain business across client service offerings, building automation upgrades, and repairs

  • Prospect within the existing customer base (roughly 75 percent of activity)

  • Develop relationships with facility managers, property managers, engineers, and executives

  • Understand and communicate commercial HVAC systems, BAS, sequences of operation, and energy-saving strategies

  • Conduct client consultations, manage service agreement bases, and provide pricing for upgrades and repairs

  • Identify decision makers, manage budgets and quotes, and guide clients through the buying process

  • Prepare and review contracts using standard templates and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Provide total account activity reports and annual sales forecasts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 7 years of experience in Building Automation, Commissioning, or Energy Services

  • Strong HVAC systems and controls knowledge

  • Experience in commercial building construction or facilities operations

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

  • Time management and self-organization skills

  • Professional, polished communication and follow-through

  • Ability to tactfully approach stakeholders at all levels and build trust

  • Strong understanding of energy cost reduction strategies and ability to explain them clearly to clients
