Backend Engineer – Python / C++ / Go

Summary:
We are seeking a Backend Engineer with strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Go to support the development and maintenance of high-performance systems, APIs, and services. This role is perfect for engineers who love solving complex problems, building scalable microservices, and working in collaborative, agile environments. You’ll contribute to the infrastructure that enables everything from online services to internal tooling for global development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend services that scale to millions of users
- Build APIs and microservices that support real-time and high-throughput applications
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and reliability through load testing, profiling, and code optimization
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code across a variety of languages and platforms
- Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience in production environments
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go (proficiency in at least one required)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture, and asynchronous processing
- Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging queues, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
- Comfort working in cloud environments (AWS preferred) and using containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Bonus: Experience in gaming, media tech, or real-time systems
