Associate Business Performance Analyst

Summary:
The Associate Business Performance Analyst will support financial and operational processes within the Generation Business Unit. This role will primarily focus on invoice processing, purchase order creation, and data reporting to ensure timely execution and tracking of expenditures in support of key business operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Generation Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and track vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and internal stakeholders to initiate and maintain purchase orders (POs).
  • Maintain and update internal tracking tools and spreadsheets to monitor business performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and budget analysis.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.
  • Communicate regularly with internal departments to ensure alignment on financial transactions and performance objectives.
  • Perform ad hoc data entry, analysis, and reporting as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a business, finance, operations, or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and basic data manipulation).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms) a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in utilities, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with invoice and PO processing workflows.
  • Exposure to procurement or supply chain processes.
