Job Title: Applications Systems Analyst
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Richmond, VA (onsite, local candidates only)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Applications Systems Analyst to provide technical support across a portfolio of enterprise applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong background in application systems analysis, multi-platform support (Windows/Linux), and integration of vendor products.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct system design and business information flow studies

Develop technical specifications, use cases, and wireframes

Perform unit, system, and integration testing

Support enterprise applications in both Windows and Linux environments

Manage multi-project assignments in complex server environments

Maintain and remediate defect lists and testing activities
-
Recommend platforms, tools, and security protocols to support business processes

Provide hands-on support for batch data loads and application interfaces
-
Install, configure, and upgrade vendor products in Linux and Windows environments

Collaborate with third-party vendor support centers for issue resolution
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in application systems analysis and support

Strong technical expertise with:

Windows/IIS servers

Citrix
-
WebLogic
-
Oracle & SQL Server databases

RedHat Linux
-
Active Directory
-
FTP/SFTP, XML, HTML, Web services, Distributed Computing
Proficient in supporting batch data loads and application interfaces
Proven success installing/upgrading vendor applications
Experience supporting firewall-protected applications
Preferred Skills

Experience with Kubernetes clusters

Experience with Postgres databases
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience
