The Company:
- A prominent Fortune 500 financial services firm with a nationwide network of independent financial advisors. This company offers an extensive selection of investment products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutions, with a strong emphasis on utilizing innovation and technology to cultivate client relationships.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Serving as the first-level technology support resource for financial advisors calling in with access, login, and everyday system navigation issues—guiding them calmly and clearly to resolution. This is a customer-service-forward role with a technical flavor: you’ll troubleshoot common issues, ask smart questions to find root causes, and own each interaction end-to-end, escalating when appropriate. You’ll handle a high volume of inbound calls (30–50/day) while keeping every advisor productive and supported.
Role Logistics:
- 12-month contract, with potential conversion based on business needs and performance
- Day 1 onsite, then fully remote thereafter
- Shift coverage between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET (volume-dependent scheduling)
- Training: approximately 3–6 weeks (classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job)
- Start date: October 13, 2026
- Pay rate: $22–$24/hr
Qualifications:
- Customer support, call center, or help desk experience strongly preferred (service-oriented backgrounds are most successful)
- Strong customer service skills with a consistent advisor/client-first mindset
- Comfort troubleshooting basic technical issues (login/access, browser settings, navigation)
- Ability to handle high inbound call volume while staying accurate and composed
- Clear, patient communication—able to walk non-technical users through step-by-step fixes
- Critical thinking and curiosity to ask probing questions and drive issues to resolution
- Preferred: experience supporting users in financial services or a regulated environment; Outlook setup and basic email troubleshooting; configuring mobile email on common apps/devices; structured escalation/ticketing environments; ability to learn proprietary systems quickly and apply training in real time
