We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a short-term consulting engagement with one of our clients who has recently undergone a multi-entity acquisition. This role is critical in consolidating financial data and creating a unified “statement of truth” across the newly acquired entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the consolidation of financial data from multiple acquired entities into a single, accurate reporting structure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Excel-based financial models and reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data across entities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to gather, validate, and align financial information.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all financial reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support post-acquisition integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience with consolidations and post-M&A financial integration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a consulting or contract-based role is a plus.
