Job Purpose
Responsible for marketing and selling consulting services to both internal and external clients. Build and maintain strong relationships to stay aligned with client needs and expectations. Support delivery of complex solutions, provide strategic insight, bring in relevant consulting resources, and contribute to the development and promotion of consulting capabilities as needed.

Engage with clients proactively, meeting service level expectations. Manage timelines, deploy resources, and ensure timely project completion. | 10% |
Represent the organization at industry events and through thought leadership (e.g., speaking, writing, participation in professional groups). | 10% |
Maintain strong knowledge of company products and services to assist with problem-solving and offering comprehensive client solutions. Identify opportunities to connect clients with additional services. | 5% |
Train, mentor, and support consulting staff. Manage team goals, priorities, and resource allocation. May include supervisory responsibilities. | 5% |
Partner with internal and external teams to deliver a high-quality consulting experience. Adapt communication in sensitive situations to achieve shared understanding. | 5% |

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

12+ years of experience in retirement, ERISA, or employee benefits

FINRA registration may be required

Background in banking, law, accounting, or consulting preferred

Proven ability to apply technical knowledge to deliver and market consulting services

Industry credentials/designations preferred

Strong consulting, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
