Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to work with business partners through verbal, written and interpersonal communications including working with clients to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, configuration, unit/regression testing, and performing change management activities.
- Demonstrated ability to research and understand issues and troubleshoot to find root cause through logical and analytical thinking to provide second and third level support for inquiries submitted to the IT Help Line; utilize Quality Center for documenting and tracking work requests, and use of Service Now for Helpline related requests
- Experience developing process maps, gathering business requirements, with a strong emphasis on application testing. Adheres to formal change management policies.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide second and third-level support for inquiries submitted to the IT Help Line; utilize Quality Center for documenting and tracking work requests.
- Data analysis skills and experience troubleshooting application functions or database results.

Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working with SAP Success Factors and third party bolt-on products is a plus.
- Exposure to HR business process in one or more of the following additional business areas is desired but not required: Benefits, Reporting, Compensation, HR Master Data, Payroll/Time.
High Level Project Overview:
The IT Business Accounts DES & Enterprise Systems area has an exciting Associate Business Systems Analyst role available with a focus area on supporting our HR product squad in a collaborative, agile environment. The individual in this position will be responsible for providing support for internal HR customers for workforce planning product squad and support. Specifically, this role provides support for one or more HR functional areas. Individual will be also be assigned to support client sprints and enhancements to include gathering and documenting requirements for enhancements and custom development efforts, writing functional development specifications, writing, and executing comprehensive test plans, as well as supporting sprint implementations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Assists in identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes, through researching and fact-finding. Role is established in the Information Technology function. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties, as necessary, under direction of experienced Business System Analysts. Works with an individual business unit on specific project assignments. Work is closely checked, and errors may cause minor delay or expense.
Preferred Years of Experience:
- 2+ years of experience supporting IT systems and processes, proven technical skills, or basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Note: A Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of related experience of 6 months or greater will count a full year towards the requirements.
Education:
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or other education in Information Systems, Mathematics or Business, or the equivalent technical experience is desired.
Preference for candidates with prior experience with a utility company but will accept candidate with prior experience in a regulated industry
