Business Systems Analyst

Summary:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the Customer Core application within the Digital product application support team. This hybrid role will alternate weekly between on-site work in Downtown Richmond and remote work from home. The analyst will align technology solutions with business strategies, conduct business process analyses, and collaborate across departments to ensure successful delivery of IT products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between business and IT teams to clarify business needs and system requirements.
- Construct test conditions and scripts; perform QA activities.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration, and regression testing.
- Support production environments and triage application issues.
- Communicate trends and requirements between customers and IT.
- Contribute to long-range system planning efforts and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience constructing test conditions and test scripts; strong QA background.
- 3+ years of production support experience.
- 3+ years’ experience leading requirements gathering and coordinating UAT/integration/regression testing
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Flexibility and self-motivation in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Travel: As determined by project needs.
- Overtime: May be required depending on project demands.
- Position Type: Contract
