Company Overview
Our client is looking to add an Associate Engineer, Data Platforms to their team. This is an on-site opportunity located in Charlotte, NC.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics and resolve proactively
• Monitor and implement indexing strategies and query tuning for optimal performance 
• Assist data engineers and other consumers with data platform best practices
• Fix triage tickets submitted for data warehouses for business intelligence reporting

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in Oracle and HEAVY SQL experience
• Proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure SQL, or Oracle Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
