What you’ll be doing:  

  • Partner with external vendors to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies. 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the company’s U.S. group health and wellness programs. 

  • Develop and deliver short and long-term recommendations to ensure benefit programs meet the needs of a diverse workforce, while maintaining compliance with all legal requirements.  

  • Review employee inquiries via a shared Talent inbox and respond so employee needs are met (benefit enrollment, coverage, concerns, etc.) 

  • Pull, review, and analyze reporting for weekly, monthly, and annual audits (internal and external) and ensure government filings are prepared timely.  

  • Manage October/November open enrollment process including RFPs, vendor coordination and prep of announcement materials/related info.  

  • Stay current on state and federal compliance and HR policy changes and provide necessary updates and education.  

  • Work closely with Payroll and HRIS teams to ensure total rewards objectives are met.  

  • Support the management of Seismic’s Leave of Absence concierge program and ensure outstanding customer service via a fully optimized leave experience for our teams.  

What you bring to the team:  

  • HR, LOA, and benefits experience  

  • External vendor management experience   

  • Email inbox management for responding to and escalating customer inquiries  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships   

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills  

  • An excitement to grow, learn, and expand skills related to benefits and leave of absences 

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of leave laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, state-specific laws) 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills 

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information 

  • Proficiency in HR systems and leave management software – ADP and UNAM a plus 

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
