Job Title
Data Entry 1 (Invoices & Data Verification) – On-Site
Target Pay Rate – $17.00/hour
Overview
Join a leading organization as a Data Entry 1 professional supporting accurate financial and business records. In this role, you’ll review source documents, investigate and match invoices, enter and verify data, and identify/correct errors to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ready to contribute in a structured, fully on-site environment.
Required Skills
- Invoice investigation
- Invoice matching
- Checkbook balancing
- Accurate data entry and data verification
- Ability to compile, sort, and verify data before entry
- Ability to locate and correct data entry errors (or escalate as needed)
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
- Ability to maintain logs of activities and completed work
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience using data entry devices (keyboard/scanner)
- Experience working with financial documents (checks, invoices, bills, sales reports)
- Prior completion of a data entry speed and accuracy test
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Entry level to 2 years of related experience
Other Requirements
- On-site role (5 days/week)
- 40 hours/week
- Work location: Grand Rapids, MI
