Interim Accounting Manager / Controller
We are seeking a hands-on accounting leader with prior Controller experience to support a well-established organization during a key transition. This onsite role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing accounting teams and driving month-end/year-end close processes
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- CPA
- Experience in multi-entity or complex corporate environments
- Background in interim, consulting, or transformation engagements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Proven success in a Controller or comparable leadership role
Additional Information
- Immediate start preferred
- Minimum three-month engagement
- Onsite presence required approximately four days per week
