HR Generalist 2 – On-Site Support in Manufacturing Environment
Target Pay Rate: $23-27/hour

As an HR Generalist 2, you will play a crucial role in supporting a large workforce, leading employee investigations, and ensuring consistent employment practices in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Your expertise will help maintain smooth HR operations while upholding company policies and employee relations during a critical 6-month contract.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of HR experience, including employee investigations
- Strong knowledge of work environments and collective bargaining agreements (CBA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with legal policies regarding employment practices
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications
- Skill in conducting employee coaching, disciplinary procedures, and documentation
- Experience supporting employee onboarding and orientation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with employee investigations and union workforce management
Other Requirements:
- On-site presence in La Crosse, WI, Monday – Friday
- Ability to support the HR team through on-the-job training and formal sessions
- Willingness to engage in face-to-face interactions and investigations
