Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40-45 hours per week
Position Overview
Associate Staffing is seeking an experienced Program Manager to coordinate and drive complex, cross-functional programs across technology, product, and business operations. This person will bring structure to evolving initiatives, maintain visibility across priorities and dependencies, and ensure teams remain aligned on objectives, deliverables, risks, and timelines.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized program leader who can operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and a degree of ambiguity. This role requires someone who can move beyond simply tracking tasks—identifying obstacles, driving decisions, improving processes, and holding stakeholders accountable through completion.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain program plans, roadmaps, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
-
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across technology, product, business operations, and other applicable functions.
-
Drive program execution by tracking deliverables, decisions, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies through completion.
-
Establish effective operating rhythms, governance practices, meeting cadences, and communication channels.
-
Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and executive-level updates that provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
-
Facilitate planning sessions, working meetings, program reviews, and retrospectives.
-
Document decisions, assign action items, and ensure commitments are completed.
-
Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend scalable improvements to processes, tools, and workflows.
-
Partner with stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, priorities, success measures, and resource requirements.
-
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while adapting plans as business priorities evolve.
-
Proactively identify and resolve ambiguity, delivery risks, stakeholder misalignment, and other program obstacles.
-
Maintain accurate program documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of program management practices.
Required Qualifications
-
Five or more years of experience in program management, technical program management, project management, or a closely related role.
-
Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution.
-
Experience developing program plans, roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and dependency maps.
-
Strong risk, issue, decision, and action-item management skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities simultaneously.
-
Experience communicating program status, risks, and recommendations to both working teams and senior leaders.
-
Strong meeting facilitation, stakeholder management, and written communication skills.
-
Ability to operate independently and bring structure to ambiguous or evolving initiatives.
-
Proven ability to influence teams and drive accountability without direct authority.
-
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting technology, software, gaming, digital product, or engineering organizations.
-
Experience partnering with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
-
Familiarity with Agile development practices and software delivery lifecycles.
-
Experience with program-management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
-
Experience building dashboards, executive reporting, and program-governance frameworks.
-
Background improving operational processes within a rapidly changing organization.
