Job Overview
We are seeking a SAP Basis Technical Lead to act as the senior technical authority across a complex SAP ecosystem. This role owns system availability targets, HANA database operations, transport management, and proactive monitoring strategies that support mission-critical business functions.
The ideal candidate brings deep Basis expertise in enterprise SAP landscapes and experience supporting highly regulated utility environments.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain system availability targets and oversee performance across ECC, CRM, BW, Solution Manager, PO, Gateway, Fiori, BPC, and BTP

Manage HANA database operations including memory optimization, delta merges, and patching

Execute kernel upgrades and system refreshes using zero-downtime methodologies

Oversee transport pipeline governance and automated promotion processes

Configure monitoring frameworks within Solution Manager and integrate with ServiceNow

Support CPI/BTP integrations including certificate management and iFlow monitoring

Validate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness

Serve as technical escalation point for all infrastructure and Basis issues

Support SuccessFactors EC/ECP from a Basis and security perspective

Lead quarterly infrastructure health reviews and drive automation initiatives
Required Qualifications
-
15+ years SAP experience with 12+ years in Basis administration

7+ years HANA database experience

Expertise supporting enterprise SAP landscapes in production environments

Strong troubleshooting skills across performance, integrations, and cloud connectivity
