Company Overview
Our client is looking to add a Sr. Manager, Data Engineering and IT Applications to their team. This is an on-site, contract opportunity, located in Charlotte, NC.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage data engineering team to produce data products for both on-premise data warehouse and cloud data platform
• Manage data operations team to ensure availability and reliability of all on-premise databases and cloud data platform
• Plan, design and implement new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Develop and manage external relationships with vendors and service providers

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• 5+ years of management experience and 8+ years of experience leading Development and Support teams
• Experience with ETL tools and procedures
• Extensive experience with SQL server database tools and administration tasks
• Expert understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
