Job Overview
This role is responsible for driving the technical design and evolution of supply chain applications and API development within a complex, large-scale wireless and technology environment. The Software Architect II will define architectural standards, guide integration strategies, and ensure scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions that enable seamless data flow and system interoperability across the organization. This position provides technical leadership across end-to-end value streams and plays a critical role in delivering efficient, innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain supply chain architecture and technical solutions supporting wireless operations
  • Lead analysis and definition of data models, workflows, environments, systems, and software interfaces
  • Develop, review, and approve detailed technical design documents and architectural specifications
  • Represent supply chain technology within end-to-end value stream initiatives and integration efforts
  • Establish development standards and best practices while providing technical mentorship to delivery teams
  • Design and implement secure integration architectures connecting a diverse set of internal and external systems
  • Drive API CI/CD implementation using modern tooling and automation frameworks
  • Define the current system landscape, identify architectural gaps, and create roadmaps to achieve future-state solutions

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience as an application or software architect with strong expertise in API design and implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and containerized solutions using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to balance long-term architectural strategy with near-term delivery needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with experience working across cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience within supply chain or logistics technology domains
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and their application to automation, system optimization, or data integration
  • Deep, hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns
