Senior Finance Business Partner – Payments

Reports to: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis
We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support a growing Payments organization within a high-impact, data-driven environment. In this strategic role, you will advise senior leadership on financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation across a complex payments portfolio. You will own financial planning, analysis, and decision support for payments monetization and strategic payment partnerships.
This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, deep experience in technology revenue modeling, and a passion for partnering cross-functionally to drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for the Payments line of business.

Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives.

Build and maintain models for rate and volume drivers across major revenue streams, key strategic partners, and new product initiatives.
Strategic Partnership

Serve as the primary finance liaison to Payments leadership, providing insights on business trends, financial drivers, resource allocation, and ROI for business cases.
Data-Driven Insights

Translate complex rate × mix × volume analyses into clear, actionable insights.

Simplify complex scenarios to support fast, accurate decision-making.
Corporate Modeling

Contribute to the ongoing evolution of long-range planning models, including SaaS metrics, technology investment modeling, and Total Cost of Ownership frameworks.
Operational Excellence

Join as the lead revenue analyst within a team supporting the payments business.

Set the standard for analytical rigor, communication quality, and stakeholder partnership.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 7+ years in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering, ideally within software, technology, fintech, or payments.

Large Data Analytics: Comfortable working with large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights.

Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, including full P&L ownership and scenario analysis.

Communication: Ability to synthesize complex data and present insights to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Adaptive Insights (preferred), Anaplan, Workday, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
