Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a growing IT applications team. This role will focus on supporting facilities and fleet management systems, while also partnering with internal stakeholders on integration projects and enhancements.


Location & Schedule

  • Location: Local candidates only (hybrid schedule – one week onsite, one week remote)

  • Type: Contract assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with facilities and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.

  • Conduct business process analysis and contribute to long-term system planning.

  • Design, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications.

  • Provide advanced customer support, including second- and third-level application assistance.

  • Lead or support system enhancements, integrations, and IT projects.

  • Develop test plans, configure systems, and assist with user acceptance testing.

  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology and business strategies.

  • Share knowledge and mentor junior analysts as needed.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (business analysis, process mapping, and enterprise application support).

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Fleet Management, or Facilities Management applications.

  • Experience with projects involving systems integration.

  • Strong understanding of testing and change management methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

  • Ability to facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions with both business and IT stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with facilities, fleet, or building management applications (e.g., M5, Indoor Finders).

  • Prior industry exposure in utilities, energy, technology consulting, or oil & gas.

  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
