Overview:
Are you a Cisco Voice and Video guru looking for a dynamic opportunity to showcase your skills? We are seeking a talented Unified Communications Engineer to join our client’s team in Fort Mill, SC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and administering Cisco telephony equipment, deploying and maintaining Cisco voice and video products, and troubleshooting VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in telecommunications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications products
- Advanced understanding of networking, including QoS
- Proven technical expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager, Cisco Control Hub, Cisco Unified IM & Presence and Unity, Cisco UCCX or UCCE, Cisco Webex Web Conferencing, and more
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with provisioning tools such as Akkadian Labs, Ziro, or Kurmi Webex Calling Vendor Portals
- Familiarity with VMWare
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to accommodate after-hours and weekend activities
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
